Tani Kano was sent from Venga to ANiDigital to direct the first season, with Mako from Acesky directing Season 2 and 3. The second series, started production in September of 2018 and will end production in February 2019 for a late March release. Production of the first season lasted from July 2018 to January 2019, where it was sent to broadcast. AniDigital, in it's infancy, decided to go on board and be the main animation studio. About six pilot episodes were made and were sent to production companies. Venga started producing the show with Studio Acesky and Studio TRIGGER in March of 2018. Venga bought the rights to a book to anime adaptation in late 2017 after Curiousgorge66 Studios losing the rights to the franchise.
